Kellie Ring
Program Manager, Game Plan
Kellie's time as a high-performance athlete has deeply influenced her life. Her journey included playing varsity basketball, representing Team Canada at various age group levels, and a brief stint in the Women’s British Basketball League. These experiences helped pave the way for a purposeful and fulfilling career.
Kellie completed her education with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from the University of Ottawa and a Master of Digital Media from Toronto Metropolitan University. Kellie began her career in 2017 with an internship at the Canadian Olympic Committee – a pivotal experience that ignited her passion for a career in sports administration. Kellie used the skills she acquired as an athlete and through her education to work as the Digital Marketing Manager for both the 2022 and 2023 Canada Games organizing committees.
Having personally navigated the challenges and complexities of a high-performance athlete's life, Kellie understands the hurdles faced during transitions. She wholeheartedly believes in Game Plan’s ability to provide athletes with the essential skills for success both in and out of sport.
Kellie lives in Toronto, and finds joy in giving back to the next generation of female basketball players through coaching.
