Start date: September 5, 2023
Success After Sports is designed to support you, one of Canada's Olympic, Paralympic, or national team athletes, through your transition out of sport. This program is designed for athletes who are struggling with the decision to retire or continue in sport and for those who have made the decision to move on from their athletic careers.
This is not your typical online course, Melinda has created a Game Plan specific cohort of up to 12 participants each offering. In addition to the 9 modules, Melinda meets weekly with participants for a two-hour "huddle" via Zoom. This course creates a team-like atmosphere that pushes everyone forward toward a Personal NEXT!
Participants will feel supported as they begin to understand the issues and emotions that athletes face post-sport. Upon completion of this program, you will be able to articulate future goals and you will have taken steps towards your own version of success after sports.
Module Dates:
There will be 2 options for zoom calls which will happen either in the daytime or in the evening to accommodate participants from coast to coast.

Quatre-Chemins is an organization whose mission is to support you, one of Canada's Olympic, Paralympic, or national team athletes, through your transition out of sport. When taking part in one of our services, you will meet other athletes, but also Canadian military members and business leaders that are also going through a transition.
Our services are designed to help you redefine who you are beyond all your accomplishments. Regardless of what stage you are at in your transition, Quatre-Chemins can support you in this highly emotional phase where we often feel lost and confused. We can help you answer questions like :
Who am-I if I don't perform?
Do I still mean something if I don’t perform?
Will I ever feel happy like this doing something else?
Here are two types of services for you:
Base Camp: A 48-hours experience in nature that allows you to take a break and start exploring questions you have in regards to your transition. It is a way to get a first experience with us and meet other people that, like you, are going through a transition.
One-Year program: One year spent with a group of maximum 12 people. The program has 10 sessions spread over one year during which you will have the time to live through your transition. The sessions will allow you to take a monthly pause to check how you are doing and will allow you to get to know yourself better for this next chapter of your life.
Upcoming Program Dates:
