Fall 2020 Coaching Education Grant Recipients

MONTREAL, QC (October 9, 2020) — In collaboration with the Coaching Association of Canada, Game Plan is proud to announce its support of 24 Team Canada athletes as they look to take the next steps in advancing their coaching careers through the Coaching Education Program. Our recipients will each receive funding of up to $1000 to help cover the costs of training to become a coach in either the Competition-Development stream or work towards their Advanced Coaching Diploma.

The Coach Education Program was developed by the Coaching Association of Canada and Game Plan to help transitioning athletes begin their coaching careers while fostering growth and excellence in the Canadian sports system. This is the fifth iteration of the program, and this intake is the largest selected to date.
